Terms of Consignment
Dress requirements
A consigned dress must be:
- Free of rips, snags, or stains (contact us with any questions about this)
- New with tags OR worn once and cleaned (or a cleaning fee will be charged on drop-off)
Well-preserved or less than 5 years old
Timeline
- Prom dresses will be accepted for consignment January through March, and placed out for sale.
- Dress drop-off is by appointment only, except during posted times.
- All unsold dresses must be picked up between May 15 and June 15; any merchandise left after this date will become the property of StitchPrincess and may be donated to charity.
Pricing
- Cosigned dresses will be sold for $50-300. Consignor may suggest a price, but StitchPrincess reserves the right to set the final price.
- Consignors will receive 50% of the sale price, minus any applicable fees. Payment will be remitted via payment apps.
- StitchPrincess will advertise, sell dresses, and collect all payments, taxes, and fees.
- At time of drop-off, StitchPrincess may offer to buy the dress instead of cosign. Selling price will be $20 for used dresses, $40 for new with tags. Dresses must meet above listed requirements.
