Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we require appointments for alterations and shopping customers. You may schedule an appointment by calling, texting, or emailing us. Or fill out the "contact us" form on the website.

The shop is typically open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays. Hours are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed. Please contact us for an appointment.

• Dress shopping appointments are free! Due to limited space, we request that you schedule an appointment at least 2 weeks in advance.
• Alterations consultations have a non-refundable $35 fee. If you choose to move forward with alterations, this will be applied to your final alterations cost, as your fitting fee.

• The Dress to be altered, along with a proper hanger. We can provide plastic dress bags, if needed.
• Shoes to be worn at the event. If you do not have your shoes yet, please bring another pair of exactly the same height, or reschedule your appointment.
• Any undergarments to be worn with the dress, including shapewear, sticky bras, petticoat skirts, etc. If you are unsure, we can advise you during the initial consultation.
• Water to drink. Please do not bring coffee or flavored beverages, except in tightly-sealed travel mugs.

• Wedding Dress Alterations initial/consultation appointments are scheduled for 1 hour. Subsequent appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, except in extenuating circumstances.
• Formal Wear alterations appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. But we typically finish in 10-20 minutes.
• Dress Shopping appointments are scheduled for two hours. You will have a bridal specialist assisting you for the entirety. 
• Steaming, Cleaning and Preservation drop-off typically does not need an appointment. Please contact us for upcoming shop hours.

Yes! We have a comfy couch that seats 2-3 people. If needed, we can pull in 1 or 2 more chairs, but space is quite limited.

Feel free to call or facetime other guests during the appointment, as long as this does not slow down or disrupt the seamstress.

We love kids, and we are mothers ourselves! But due to our small facility and potential for sharp or delicate materials, we request that children not enter the building. 

• Allowances are made for non-crawling infants or calm children over the age of 8. 
• We reserve the right to ask any child (or adult) to leave due to disruptions or disrespect of property.
• If you must bring a child to your appointment, please also bring another adult as a child supervisor.
